Every woman looks good in the right hat.
Following are guidelines for choosing the styles that balance your face shape.

Using
a tape measure, place it firmly around your head over the forehead just
above the eyebrows and over the bulge in the back of your head ,
measure to the nearest 1/4 inch. Please remember your head size will
change hair style, weight loss or gain. The average head size is 22 1/2
inches. |

Narrow Face
A wide up turned brim pulled low will add width. Or a shallow crown, "Madhatter" style with a sailor brim.

Square Jaw
A
hat with a slanted brim or worn at a slant, fedora styles, peekaboo
brim and a sailor brim will work for you. Also consider a beret style.

Your
hat should be kept in a hat box to keep it clean and free of dust. Line
the box with tissue paper and store your hat with the crown downwards ,
if the hat has a wide brim support the brim with tissue paper placed
underneath the brim, this will help to maintain the shape of the brim.
Never store a quality hat in a plastic bag. Rain will ruin your hat,
velour hats can shrink and spot, straw can collapse and loose it's
shape. If your hat does become wet place a rolled tea towel inside the
hat and place on top of a coffee can and allow the hat to dry slowly
away from direct heat. Never place a wet hat on it's brim or hang it
up. It's your choice you can always pay me to reblock and clean your
hats. |

Round Face
Big
hats are a good style for you, wide crowns such as a rounded madhatter
or a wide sailor brim or wide up turned brim Breton style. Also
berets, cloches and pillbox hats worn off your face will be a good
choice. Round faces are good hat faces and look good in many hat styles.
